3 Tasty Carrot Juice Recipes for Weight Loss

Carrot Juice Recipes for Weight Loss

Looking for some good carrot juice recipes for weight loss? Juicing has some amazing health benefits. It can detoxify your body, kill candida, and help you lose weight, just to name a few benefits. In this article, I’m going to show you 3 tasty carrot juice recipes and their benefits for weight loss.

I’ve been drinking carrot juice for more than a year now. I had a candida overgrowth a while back, which caused some very strange and unexpected health problems for me. Carrot juice is a powerful candida killer and was an important part of my natural recovery plan.

However, over the last year of drinking carrot juice, I’ve noticed some other health benefits as well. For instance, I’ve noticed that juicing regularly has given me more energy, improved the health of my skin, and it has even helped me lose weight.

Benefits of Juicing for Weight Loss

Juicing has several benefits for weight loss. Juicing allows you to increase your overall fruit and vegetable intake, which results in a boost in metabolism. This can result in indirect weight loss, because the faster your metabolism works, the more calories you burn throughout the day – regardless of what activities you are doing.

Carrot juice, in particular, is low in fat, calories, and sugar, while being high in fiber. When used as a meal replacement, carrot juice can help you lower your overall daily caloric intake, which for most people is a good idea.

Juicing is also an excellent, natural source of the vitamins and minerals that your body needs to run in top form. Combine that with the detoxing benefits of juicing and the boost in metabolism, and it’s easy to see how juicing can help you turn your body into a calorie burning machine.

Carrot Juice Recipes for Weight Loss

Vegetable juices are better for weight loss than fruit juices, because of the lower sugar content. I’ve mostly used carrot juice thus far, but I plan to try some new juices and add my favorite recipes to this site in the near future.

Raw vegetable juice is much better than any bottled juice because the preservatives added to bottled juice are unhealthy. Also, the typical juice bottling process deactivates many of the healthy microorganisms and enzymes present in raw vegetable juices, lowering the overall health benefit of drinking them.

We use the Nutri Ninja Pro to make our raw vegetable and fruit juices, shakes, and smoothies. I like the Nutri Ninja Pro because it doesn’t strip all of the fiber-rich pulp and it’s easy to clean, but any juicer should work fine. You can find some great deals on juicers at Amazon.com.

With a juicer that removes pulp, you get less fiber and use more produce per juice, but you have the added benefit of getting a higher concentration of juice by removing the pulp.

Pure Carrot Juice Recipe

Pure Carrot Juice

2 – 3 Carrots

2 – 3 Cups of water

You can add spices, like cinnamon, garlic, ginger, thyme, etc., to give the juice more flavor. Garlic will make your carrot juice spicy.

Note: All of the spices that I mentioned above have the added benefit of being powerful candida killers.

I prefer to peel the carrots. At the very least, you should wash them thoroughly. With a juicer that removes pulp, you don’t need to worry about peeling the carrots. Just wash them and cut the ends off.

 Carrot and Fruit Juice Recipe

Carrot and Fruit Juice

2 – 3 Carrots

1 Sliced apple or peeled orange

A few shakes of cinnamon

A bit of ginger

2 – 3 Cups of water

If your juicer removes pulp, it’s not necessary to slice the apple, but in the case of the orange, you’ll still need to peel it first.

Carrot and Green Vegetable Juice Recipe

Carrot and Green Vegetable Juice

2 – 3 Carrots

Handful of kale

Handful of spinach

2 Stalks of celery

1 Tomato

A few sprigs of parsley

1 Clove of garlic

Squeeze half of a lemon

2 – 3 Cups of water

To make the juice even spicier you can add a jalapeno or a bit of hot sauce.

If your juicer removes pulp, you’ll need to juice more carrots (or other fruits and vegetables). Also, it may not be necessary for you to add water. Experiment with these carrot juice recipes until you find out what works for you and your juicer.
